DOS Studio Session June 4th, 2020

I arrived over at Martin’s about 10 in the morning, brought my gear in to the garage and then started to set up. We started to play a bit after 11, I guess. Martin had a lot of new pedals than just 3 months ago. I think it is great that he is changing his sound and set up all the time to keep things fresh and interesting. I also have never played live with the set up of synths I had this day either..

My experience of the album focuses to vague hints of four riders symbol in western culture, culminating in paintings of father and son, both descended to the ultimate reality to where the four riders eventually lead us all. Though most of physical world and life in general may appear as null, there are scarcely summits of space mountains emerging from void. Momentariness of all may be only cause for meanigns and give reason to existence..Remembering Mr. Hofman when spinning this.record. Eetu Pellonpää

The title track is an epic 42 minute trip which feels very much like the Floyd at their late 60's space rock finest. Then with later tracks it's get a little funky but still psychedelic. Quite possibly my favourite OSC album to date, which, to me, makes this indispensable. Gavin Bennet
