Doctors of Space Studio Session Sept 29th, 2021

I arrived at Martin´s about 9:30. I had a lot to set up but it went well and it was nice to have the Yamaha CS-10 for the first time in a while. I had a lot more experience with the Mellotron now as well. This would the first time for Martin to use the new TC Electronics looper. We would have some really long jams today..

Jam 1 18:39 (Temporal Shift)

Everything seem to go well. We filmed this one. Martin had 2 guitar loops and bass and there was lots of synth action going on. Good heavy emotional stuff.

Jam 2 was quite experimental.
Jam 3 we cranked up the pace. 170bpm on the drum machine.. This was a really fun one.
Jam 4 was had no drums and was quite strange in parts but really good.

Lunch break

Jam 5 was our only acoustic one today. Nice vibe and Martin played really well but I felt i could have done better.

Jam 6 Dark Tension
Jam 7— A Cracker, no cheese. This was a great one…..

This particular double album kicks ass and would take a full page but suffice it to say that they are indeed great listeners, know each others strengths and each track here has it's own vibe and direction, only known in the present moment. They open up reality to make sure they are not limited by time as to see if they can achieve some sort of collective orgasmic crescendo.
